Since building the brand until now, Pagacas salted roasted cashew nuts is the main product line that we research and develop with the most dedication. This is the first product as well as the most trusted and distributed product of Pagacas.

The highlight of the product is the delicious taste, the natural sweetness of cashew mixed with the typical fatty taste. Pagacas focused mostly on product quality that includes careful selection of raw materials (100% Vietnamese ingredients - the world's best-recognized cashew nut region), modern roasting technology, and skilled technical staff with more than 5 years of experience.

To understand that the quality of cashew nuts comes from 80% of raw materials and 20% of technology and roasting skills. Pagacas focuses on the above three factors to build and ensure product quality.

Why is Vietnam's raw cashew nut recognized as number 1 in the world? That's because of the favorable climate and soil conditions. Compared to cashew trees grown in other regions, cashew trees grown in Vietnam have a better output that contains higher nutritional content. In particular, the fat content is usually over 40% and the carbohydrate content is usually more than 20%. Vietnamese raw cashew nuts often have big, firm kernels with a high density (so Vietnamese cashews are usually smaller than imported cashews). In addition, unlike imported cashew nuts, Vietnamese cashews have a small gap, which helps to prevent cashews from a great deal of salt when roasted. The defect rate of Vietnamese cashews is very low. Pagacas commits that the defect rate of nuts in each product does not exceed 2% by weight.

In addition to focusing on raw materials, Pagacas also focuses on the production process. Pagacas’ all facilities and production processes are licensed to meet sanitation and food safety standards. Prior to the commercial release, Pagacas’ products are tested and fully certified.

The price of Pagacas salted roasted cashews is optimized according to the net weight (the actual weight of the cashew nut in the box minus the weight of the box and desiccant packet). Therefore, customers can rest assured of Pagacas’ product quality as well as volume. (You can find a lot of cheaper products with the same volume. However, when giving a thorough review, we can see that the box and desiccant bag contain a large volume of gross weight while the net weight of those products is very low. This gives you a wrong feel for the price).

Understanding the diverse needs of customers, Pagacas launched many product lines of salted roasted cashews with different sizes and packaging: zip bag 40g, high-grade plastic box 300g, round box 500g, jar with lid 500g, vacuum bag 500g, paper box 500g. In addition, Pagacas also designs a special big size 10-20kg for customers who want to buy wholesale. Pagacas' packaging design is eye-catching and user-friendly. Besides, it ensures sanitation and food safety and preserves the quality of cashews.

Propagation of the cashew tree by vegetative methods - Layering & Grafting
06/11/2022

Asexual propagation is accomplished through cell division. In which, the chromosomes and cytoplasm of the mother cell divide to produce two daughter cells. The plants created by this propagation method, therefore, will carry a combination of traits and genes of the mother plants, which is the reason why selection of mother plants must be done carefully.
